The Nursery Alice Collectible Art Card Series
For this project, I reimagined Lewis Carroll's The Nursery Alice as a collectible A5 art card series, designed to engage both children and their parents. The idea behind this concept is to transform the traditional reading experience into an interactive and visually rich activity. Each card features an illustration on the front, with corresponding text on the back that guides parents to point out elements in the artwork while reading to their children.I selected Garamond and Goudy Old Style as the primary typefaces for the text. Garamond pays homage to the Victorian origins of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, while its readability makes it perfect for longer passages. Goudy, with its warm and slightly whimsical letterforms, complements Garamond and adds a playful touch.
